2019 Health Sciences Alumni Career Speaker

Dr. Bryan Green of Digestive Diseases Group was invited and served as the 2019 Health Sciences Alumni Career Speaker at his alma mater of Mercer University and Mercer Medical School in Macon Georgia on November 7. He spoke to about 100 students and faculty about how his education at Mercer helped him in his career as a Gastroenterologist.

First Annual 5k Run/Walk to benefit the Colorectal Cancer Prevention Network

Digestive Disease Group, PA and The Greenwood Endoscopy Center, Inc held its’ first 5k Run/Walk to benefit the Colorectal Cancer Prevention Network on March 23, 2019. Thanks to our sponsors and participants, we were able to present a check to CCPN for $4349.04. These funds will be used to provide screening colonoscopies to the under or non-insured residents of South Carolina.

Dr. Green’s Advocacy in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Bryan T. Green of Digestive Disease Group, PA went to Washington, D.C. again this year on March 3 and 4 for appointments at the Senate and House offices to advocate for reducing the cost and increasing access for patients to prescription medications. Many insurance companies have created Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) to manage prescription benefits for their enrollees but unfortunately this has contributed to rising cost of prescriptions.
